Come join us for the most exciting racing event of the year!  Need some assistance in design or construction?  Then join us for construction day on Saturday, 27 January at 10 am.  We will have tools, paint, advice from experts, and much more, so please plan to join us if you would like some assistance.  Our race day schedule is as follows:

Blue and Gold Banquet: Saturday, March 3, 2007, 5 pm

The Blue and Gold Banquet is one of the highlights of the program year as we celebrate the birthday of Cub Scouting. It is a family affair that brings our group together with an evening of food and fun, and of course, the infamous "Fellers' Cake Bake" contest.  Please click here for the invitation, dinner details, and contest rules.  I will be contacting each of you individually for assignment of setup duties.

Sleeping with the Fishes: March 23 - 24, 2007

Fort Fisher, NC

Cost: $40.00 / person

Coordinator: Steve Vozzo

 

The aquarium will allow 35 people to sleep with the fishes. The signup will be first come, first served with the Scout(s) and only one adult family member allowed for initial sign-up. As the camping date approaches, additional spots may be opened up to siblings and other adults. If we have significant overflow we are considering organizing a campout that would meet the group on Saturday at the U.S.S. North CarolinaPlease click here for more details.

Spring Survivor Camp-O-Ree: May 5-6, 2007

Camp Reeves, NC

This district "Survivor" Camp-O-Ree will be filled with fun games and cub-scout style survival contest.  The event includes a special fireside ceremony Saturday night that you won't want to miss!


Farm Trip, Oct 28, 5 pm

Best Nest Farms

Coordinator: James Ormand

This event adds to our monthly theme of "Down on the Farm" and is designed for Cub Scout dens (Wolves and Bears).  We'll get to learn about breed selections, farm economics, and a bit of history.  Of course, as we spend time with the animals, we'll have a chance to feed and pet them.
